1. Scope and publisher
This policy applies to pentabay.org (the “Site”), operated under the PentaBay name. It explains information handled when you visit the Site, contact us, or view advertising.

2. Information we handle
- Information you provide: your email address, name, organization, message and any files or details you choose to send when contacting PentaBay.
- Technical and security data: IP address, request time, requested URL, referring page, browser/device details and security events that may appear in hosting or server logs.
- Advertising and consent data: cookies, online identifiers, approximate location, ad interactions and your consent signals may be handled by Google and its advertising partners when Google advertising tags or ads are loaded.
The Site does not currently offer visitor accounts or ask for payment information through the Site.
3. Google AdSense and advertising
The Site uses Google AdSense advertising services, although ads may not appear on every page or before account approval and any required consent. Google and other third-party vendors may use cookies or similar technologies to serve, limit, personalize and measure ads. Their use of advertising cookies can allow ads to be based on visits to this and other sites. Where cookies are unavailable, device or comparable identifiers may be used.
Personalized advertising depends on your choices and applicable law. Non-personalized or limited ads can still use information for basic ad delivery, frequency control, fraud prevention and measurement. Any additional advertising partners selected for this Site are identified through the applicable consent message, where you can manage them individually.

4. Cloudflare and essential technologies
The Site is delivered through Cloudflare infrastructure. Cloudflare may process network and request data and, when relevant security or traffic-management features are active, set strictly necessary cookies such as __cf_bm or cf_clearance. These support functions such as bot detection, traffic integrity and remembering a completed security challenge; they are not PentaBay advertising cookies.

5. Purposes and legal bases
We handle information to:
- operate, secure and troubleshoot the Site;
- reply to inquiries and manage business communications;
- understand aggregate Site performance;
- serve and measure advertising where enabled; and
- meet legal, regulatory and policy obligations.
Depending on your location and the activity, the legal basis may be consent, performance of steps you request, legitimate interests in operating and protecting the Site, or compliance with law. Where consent is required, optional advertising storage and personalization are governed by your consent choice.
6. Your consent and privacy choices
- Where the Site displays a consent message, you can consent, decline consent, or manage individual options. You can reopen the Site’s privacy choices control to change or withdraw that decision.
- You can manage Google ad personalization in My Ad Center.
- Browser and device controls let you block or delete cookies and reset advertising identifiers. Blocking essential technology may affect security or availability.
- Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection, data portability, or withdrawal of consent by emailing us. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.
7. Sharing, transfers and retention
Information may be handled by hosting, security, email and advertising providers acting for their own stated purposes or for PentaBay. It may also be disclosed when legally required or in connection with a legitimate business reorganization. These providers may process data outside your country under the safeguards available to them.
We keep correspondence and technical records only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes above, dispute handling, security and legal obligations. Advertising providers determine their own retention periods under their policies. PentaBay does not sell information you submit directly by email. Some laws may define personalized-ad disclosures as “sale” or “sharing”; use the choices above where those rights apply.
8. Children, security and changes
The Site is a business and industry information service and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly request personal information from children. We use reasonable safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
We may update this policy when the Site, advertising services or legal requirements change. The date at the top identifies the latest version.
